The Michigan State men's basketball team met with members of the media after practice Wednesday evening to breakdown their matchup against Grand Valley State on Monday. Spartan Tailgate caught up with head coach Tom Izzo, junior Chris Allen and true freshman Derrick Nix.
Izzo talked about how his team fighting through early injuries gives him time to experiment with players at new positions. Allen discussed the differences between his current status and where he was at the same time last year, while Nix breaks down his first preseason action against Northwood and what he needs to work on before the regular season begins.
