Dior Mathis might be the top uncommitted class of 2010 prospect from the state of Michigan.
Right now though, Mathis is focused primarily on delivering Detroit Cass Tech a state championship.
This past Friday, Mathis’ high school career was hanging in the balance when Cass Tech entered the locker room for halftime trailing Dearborn Fordson, 23-2.
Mathis helped extend both his and his team’s season with a game-winning touchdown in Cass Tech’s come-from-behind, 24-23 win.
Spartan Tailgate caught up with Mathis following the game to talk about the dramatic win and also get an update from the nation’s sixth-ranked cornerback on where Michigan State stands when it comes to his college decision.
