Alex Gauna
With high school basketball season less then two weeks away from tip off, Spartan Tailgate caught up with Eaton Rapids center and Michigan State commit Alex Gauna.
The 6-foot-9 senior gave his opinion on the other future Spartans that make up his recruiting class, how the opportunity to play for Michigan State has been a lifelong goal and what he needs to work on during his senior season to prepare himself for the rigors of playing in the paint on the next level.
Gauna, the No. 17 center in the nation according to ESPN Scouts Inc., also talked about the relationship he has developed with Tom Izzo and his staff and the need to take care of some unfinished business before he arrives in East Lansing.
